Gifts from the Forest 2
B>Do Not Spray ~ Ever ~ or Mow before Mid-June and Not Often to Preserve Reseeding ~ aka Low Maintenance Forest ~ And...Do Not Cut Down Our Beloved Trees
Gifts of joyous and medicinal Spring wildflowers from the forest every year present an abundance of flora and fauna just for you.
Below find a single crowning 2 inch royal purple daisy, a botanical name it must have, the only one on the estate just at the back of the Main Manor off the flagstone patio, we've cared for 35 years to pass on to gentle hands... and feet. Medicinal Dandelion, but a few, we save, this volunteering to adorn the labyrinth moss covered rock among 3 and 4 leaf clover punctuated with a variegated violet. More tender shoots of fern on lagoon banks adorned with various moss and lichens, purple Creeping Charlie, a few more Spring Beauties, and wild strawberry just to name a few with what 'appears' to be a petrified tree stump to add more mystery to this already glowing ambiance. I see a baby Oak tree just beginning it's climb to the sky. Do you see it, too? What else do you see that isn't named here? Next finds Lavender Creeping Charlie deserving of a close-up of its tiny orchid-like petals. Bouquets of Marsh Marigolds dot surrounding banks. And dark adaption in the night always finds a host of very rare, mystical, magical Glow Worms that mysteriously appeared August 1987 during the Harmonic Convergence still phasing in and out in nature's rhythm thereunder. DO NOT SPRAY! EVER!
A Photographer's Dream! Enjoy an endless cache of Nature and Her stories of mystery, adventure and intrigue as the new Keepers of this Sacred Site and Grid Node...
